Benchrest Stand

Here is the benchrest stand that I built. It is made from aluminium and is very light weight. See below for more details.

The base is made from a hollow box section aluminium extrusion. This is then filled with lead shot to add weight to the stand. When I travel by air to a match, I can empty the lead shot to decrease weight. When I get there I can get some lead shot and fill it, or just use sand or rocks.

It has both windage and elevation adjustments. When dismantled, it packs flat and is very small.
