It is my sad duty to report that Barry Warwick's wife Gayle passed away after an accident at home.
Gayle was a fantastic lady, and always made me feel welcome in their home. I stayed with Gayle and Barry many times during Silverdale matches, then after their move to Coffs Harbour area I was again always made most welcome.
Gayle was a wonderful cook, and she always prepared a delicious lamb roast when I was to stay as she knew this was my favourite. I always brought the wine, and she enjoyed a glass with me!
Gayle was an operating theatre nurse, and retired just prior to the move north.
The funeral will be on Tuesday 11th June at 11am. I will post more details when I receive them.
