Reside in Sydney and home range is Silverdale.

When did you first start benchrest?

At Illawarra range - Dapto in L/V a long time ago!

Who helped you in the early days?

Ray Starkey, Bruce Treloar, Karl Kuehn, Bruce Fryer, Rob "gunna" Carnell, and heaps of other top rate shooters.

What was your first BR rifle?

222/45, Remington XP100 action, Douglas barrel, Leupold 24X (smithed by Bill Marden )

Kwinana WA 1987

What year did you qualify?

Brisbane 2009

Where do you shoot most?

Silverdale N.S.W.

Which ranges do you like and dislike and why?

Favourite ranges – Silverdale, Brisbane and Coffs Harbour. Least favoured – Canberra.

Which matches do you like most each year?

NSW State titles, Australia Day matches and Banana Coast.

Have you shot overseas, when, where, how did you go?

Dobbiaco Italy 1999 a lucky 10th at 200yds in H/V, Kelblys USA 2005 67th and 49th Pretoria Sth Africa 2009 7th and 14th

What is your current equipment?

Actions – Stolle Panda and Bat – Krieger barrels, Stocks - Kelbly and Scoville Scopes- March 36 to 55

What is your philosophy for benchrest?

Just be yourself and do the best you can, but never give up.

What advice would you give to new shooters?

Listen and learn, open your eyes and ears find a shooting mate, buy the best you can, practice practice and practice.
