I would like to suggest that visitors to Canberra give a big miss to Rydges at Eagle Hawk.

Location is close to the range, but the rooms are very expensive, beds are uncomfortable, and the food is lousy.

Also, mobile phone coverage is lousy, and internet in the room is $22 per day!

Go with the pub next door.
