The BR sub committee meeting is held during the Nationals at Easter. At these meetings the State delegates discuss and approve things such as rule changes, new ideas to promote the sport, records and awards and the registered matches. This is for groups and Hunter class and now IRB. The state delegates have to bring these new ideas to the meeting, which they collect from their state’s clubs/branches.

We (Phil Jones & I - QLD delegates) have received a number of ideas from shooters eg updating existing registered ranges, developing new ranges for registration (hunter class & IRB), trophies for Juniors, promoting Juniors in registered rimfire events, funding new RO’s to run events, scoring packages for clubs, establishing postal events (QLD already has this) and a CD tutorial on setting up and running registered matches. However these are all only ideas, no formal proposals.
So if you have some suggestions for your home range, work with your club on a plan and develop a written proposal to give to your state delegates before the April meeting.
