Allan was very active in Centerfire Benchrest in the late 70s and 80s, he had 3 Hall of Fame points.

He lived in Ashfield, and I would occasionally bump in to him at Ashfield Mall.

I received the following email tonight from Megan Jones:

In Loving Memory of Allan John Jones who sadly passed on Wednesday, 4th September 2019.
He was his witty self till the very end and surrounded by loved ones he left the world peacefully. He will forever be in our hearts.
Allan's Funeral will be held on Sunday, 15th September at midday at East Chapel, Rookwood Cemetery.
