Is anyone using a Rodzilla Raptor front rest? I am looking at buying one & would appreciate any feedback on them.

Pricey but good

G'day,

I have had my Raptor for a few weeks now and are very impressed.

I can get full coverage over an entire target at 25m (air) with the front bag rider fully forward. Haven't seen another rest that does that. It is very stable and the bag doesn't canter about when moving the joystick like my Shadetree does. Very easy to change over bags (new farley design) as needed.

I don't like the knob on the end of the joystick handle, and learning to live with the knob on the end of the butt :-)

It was a bit pricey though, $3,659 AUD, but then got hit with $553 in GST and import duties from our loving government.

Hope that helps

Yep a bit pricey & a big surprise when FedEx hits you with the GST. I am very happy with mine. I have the rimfire felt front bag I find it great. Only thing I found was the little bags are not uniform & the cant bubble was off with all else perfectly level. I just placed a flat piece of wood on the high one & hit it with a hammer & all is good. I let them know this little hiccup & they are going to ensure both little bags are exactly the same & will send me some when they fix the issue.

I read bit about the joystick knob & it says it is made this way deliberately for some balance reason. I am now quite comfortable with it.

Thanks for your reply.

Regards George
