I got a message from Seb yesterday in relation to the NEO rests I have on order.
He has had some issues with parts and the shipment to Australia will probably not be sent until May.
I regret this delay, but it is beyond my control.
If you have a rest on order and do not wish to wait further, please contact me for a full refund of your deposit.
Rob.
Hi Rob
For those on the waiting list what is the latest information you have on delivery dates?
Much Appreciated

Glen,
I have received 2 deliveries over the past couple of months.
The backlog is down to about 10 rests, and I hope these can all be filled by the end of June.

Is there anyway of knowing how far along the waiting list I'm positioned?
I don't mind waiting, although I need to make alternative arrangements in the meantime.
For Seb's quality and precision rest, it's worth the wait after seeing a colleagues Neo recently... Excellent Seb!
Cheers
Dennis

This is a quote from an email received this morning from Sebastian. Wish I had better news.
If you placed your order on or before 09/09/2012, you will get one from the next batch.
I understand that this is taking a long time, but with the increased production, future deliveries should be more timely.
As always, if you wish to cancel your order and receive a full refund, just let me know. Others are waiting!
Rob.

Rob,
I have a batch of 200 NEO in the work now and I'll try my best to finish them around late May 2013.
(This is the first time I make a batch of 200. I do wish that my schedule is not wrong! Yes, I add more millings & lathes & working hours (up to 14 hours a day!) ------ My fingers crossed!!! Wish me to not sick.
I have 25 rests for you from this batch.
There is no way I can finish/send rest to you before May. I'm not David Copperfield!
I'll make another batch of 200 NEO after this Feb-May batch.
Hopefully it would cover most customers in the list. (Although I doubt it!?)
I will get a long-long holidays after that!!!!

Thanks Rob for the update.
I am not surprised that he has been swamped with orders from around the world as these rests are indeed excellent.
I knew I needed to get another rest for my son Scott when he borrowed my rifle and Seb rest and then proceeded shot shot a tiny 5 shot group at 200 yards. It looked good down range under the scope, but was even better when we collect the targets., all 5 shots fit under a $2 coin (well under an inch). Here is why it shocked every shooter that day at the range:
He's was a 12yo so had only shot a few times before.
He had never shot at the Silverdale range before.
He had never shot at a distance of 200 yards.
He had no one sighting for him which is allowed in Fly shoots.
It was his very first card of the Fly match.
It was the best group I have ever seen shot in the "Fly" shoot in over 20 years.
Would be a SSAA "Ruby" award if shot in a registered match.
Was shot with a stock standard .22 rimfire Anschutz rifle.
The Seb Neo rest was very much apart of that day and provided a good stable platform for him to be able to shoot the group. The target was witnessed by everyone at the range that day including members of this forum. ie Wazza
I will happily wait till May.
Thanks
Dave
I have a friend who ordered one in March 12 so I hope he is high on the list and I hope it is worth the wait. He won't go to the range with his new falcon because he doesn't like to borrow a rest.
Kim
Good news.
My friend received his rest.

I ordered a rest in late May 2012 and have been watching this thread like yourselves. At that time Rob said there were 28 rests on backorder already so I jumped on the list before it got any bigger. I assumed there has been a delivery or two since then, but if you ordered after me then you will be waiting patiently like myself.
I believe Seb has had more orders than he can deal with and is just working thru them on a first come first serve basis. I recall reading on another forum that making rests is not his full time job.
This rest will be our second rest after getting one a bit over a year ago, I was so impressed that I had to have another in the family. Everyone who has shot from the rest has been impressed and scores and groups have improved when using it.
There are some very impressive rests (from Italy and the US) available which would be the equal of the Seb Neo, but certainly not going to find a better rest down at your local gun shop any time soon.
Maybe will we see a shipment by the end of the month.
Regards
Dave
12 rests will ship tomorrow, with a further 12 around the end of the month.
This will fill all orders placed before September 2012.
I will let you know when we can expect more as soon as I can get more news.

Update:
Twelve NEOs have been shipped / arrived. Another 13's will be shipped next week.
These will cover order up to August 2012 in Rob's list.
Orders from September 2012 & up will be in the next batch. ---- I am still behind 350+ NEOs for today.
Yes you read it right : still 350 plus behind. -----> about 190+ USA order, 90+ UK/Europe, 30+ Australia, I think, and 50++ individuals outside USA/UK/AUS).
So I appreciate your patience & understanding.
I have two main 'problems': 1. Demand exceeds supply. 2. I'm not a superman.
Yes, I work on first come first serve basis, if you question this. Some people offered me "high dollars" to be in the front on the waiting list, but no thanks! - they can't "buy" me, and I can't sacrifice other people in the Q!
Next batch will start around mid August.
Good thing is, we are moving to a new workshop this month. More machines & machinists & larger space.
Hopefully we can make more rests & more quicker delivery in the near future - of course with the same or even better quality.
My Apologies for the delays!!!
*You will notice that the latest rest looks a bit different than ever.
1. More 'beefy' coaxial unit. (rest weighs about 0.3 kg+ than ever).
2. Bottom plate (#19) removed - changed to 'integral bottom'. Access to the uplift springs & inner parts from the top. It looks more neater also. I add two rubber 'O" rings on the bottom of the twin posts as 'bumper' for the coaxial unit to lowest position.
3. Improved side plate assembly (i.e. the dovetail cut on the 'legs'). Will not marr the retaining strips that hold the bag when adjusted in / out.
4. Twin posts position on the main base is shifted 10 mm 'off center'. This in case you use the rest with long leg at the rear (as Mike Ratigan's setup) & 'pin' the foreend/stock against the stopper, the rest will be more stable. But it still packs compactly in 'travel mode'.
In my opinion, the latest rests are better (by a bit) than ever.
I doubt it if I could improve the NEO rest anymore. (?)
Again thank you for your understanding & support,
seb.
