The Narromine Dubbo Rifle club had the pleasure and honour of yesterday being the first NSW club to offer 1000yd BR for it's members and guests.

10 competitors were introduced to some challenging conditions and have indicated that they will be back in November for their second match.

The club has also set an Australian precedent by recognising and running Traditional (blind) and Standard (marked) classes of competition.

Shooters are free to choose the event they prefer to compete in.

Given appropriate support, it is planned to run matches in 2011 during the Postal Match months of March, May, July, September and November. Preferably on weather friendly weekends

Visitors will be most welcome to attend. Details and actual dates will be advertised later in the year.
