Yearly aggregates and final placings as per attachment.
Congratulations to Tony Zubalj, Jeff Rogers, Alan Neilsen for the consistent high standard of shooting they were able to produce during the year.
Their results are comparable to any achieved in and across the American network of clubs and organisations.
We continue to be indebted to the many American clubs/competitors who acknowledge and participate in the International 1000yd BR postal matches.
In particular, the Virginian 1000yd BR Club and its’ members deserve special thanks for the co-operation, promotion and profile it has provided for this unique LRBR concept during the last two years.
Equally, the Virginia president, Mr Jeff Green is to be congratulated and admired for the various Light Gun 1000yd BR World records he established during 2010.
Six Match Group Agg. – 4.040”
Ten Match group Agg. – 5.331”
Ten Match Score Agg. – 47.2
To put the above results in perspective, consider that “Screamer” patches are awarded if competitors in the USA or Australia are able to shoot a single group of less than 4” at 1000yds, and yet Jeff has averaged over six matches, a group average of only .040” less than the screamer standard and 1.331” less for 10 matches.
IMHO, considering the degree of difficulty associated in IBS LRBR, these results are outstanding and deserve the utmost respect.
Domestically, the Extra Vision International Postal Matches continue to grow in club and competitor participation numbers with 37 in LG and 19 in HG.
Clubs involved include Murray Bridge, Canberra, Townsville, Brisbane and Narromine Dubbo.
Personally, I would like to thank the many members of the Australian LRBR community who continue to respect and support the principles of International 1000yd BR.
Last and by no means least, a sincere thank you to the Extra Vision Organisation for the generous sponsorship and prizes that they have provided during 2010.
Don’t be surprised if during 2011, additional Australian clubs introduce 100yd BR and join the ranks of the Postal matches.
cheers
