Thankyou sponsors

HI,
Sorry for this late post but am still getting over jet lag. Too old for this now maybe.
But I did mean to make this post before the start of the World Championships in Portugal to specifically acknowledge and thank the sponsors for our team. But things got a little busy.
We gained sponsorships to assist us with some expenses for the whole team and to cover costs of the special "sponsors shirts" which we all use to swap with other International competitors etc.
Bear in mind the B team and C team and the Reserve shooter receive no funding so it is important to gain some assistance.
We also thank the SSAA for their support being the the recognised organisation affiliated with the WBSF and the SSAA do support the A team financially.

We would like to ask people on this forum to recognise these sponsors listed also because they are supporting our sport. Not all of these are directly in the industry but all are worthy of recognition.

Gun World Australia - Andrew Peat
Simmons Logistics Transport - Bill Simmons
Centrepoint Finance - via Bill Simmons
ProLube lubricants - via Bill Simmons
MARCH scopes - Stuart and Annie Elliott
Realignment and Machining - Roy MacCarthy
Huntsman Tuners - Norm Bardell
Cassconsult Engineers - Richard Lightfoot
Redback Precision - Phil Jones
Top Gun - Paul Sullivan
Hunting Haven - John and Joy Harrison
BRT - Annie and Stuart Elliott

I am sure that Norm and John would join me in thanking every person in the group to Portugal because we could not have won anything without full team support. It is always hard to have members on any team 100% rowing the boat the same time. But this time we did. The Rimfire World Championships is split between teams (Country vs country) matches and individual matches. But I think it is fair to say our main focus is the teams, country vs country event.
Everyone shot well and some got luckier than others. A great group of people and we all enjoyed the moments together very much. There were some tough times and dig deep stuff. It was no "walk in park" for sure. But all 10 people over there will remember this World Championships for the rest of our days with fondness. The Portuguese hosts did a fantastic job.
Special mention to 12 year Caden Bardell who performed extremely well and conducted himself great maturity. The bright new face of Benchrest Shooting in Australia.

Many people have been offering support and best wishes for a long time and we all do appreciate it. Thank you all. But I think we should single out one person for a special mention and thank Neil Digweed who did put in a lot of his time and effort to help most members of the team individually and at some times together in groups with gun and ammo tuning etc. Thanks mate! Good Job!

The next WRC is 2018.... but we don't know where yet. Maybe Italy.
