new action

well it looks a lot like the old copperhead action with only one firing pin will be intrested in seeing the next vidio as he says he was heading to the range to see how it shoots

There are a few videos from the maker of this action on YouTube and one where a factory barrelled action was sent to the Lapua test range in the US and the results were a bit ugly. They look like they are well made but nothing new that would improve performance in the design.

When I got my firing pin upgrade for my Turbo every time I came home from the range I had a big smile on my face, I’m very happy with it and still say the Turbo is the best action to have. But I saw on the adds on this forum that Brett had his personal new Turbo build for sale and he said he won’t be importing anything in for the next couple of years, so very few new builds of any action will be showing up down here.

thanks for your reply when I see the other replies I did a bit of looking and your right they have been around for a bit and yes there not much of an improvement over the old
until Brett came along I had a Hole Shot 2500x on order this was taking a very long time I rang Brett and found he had a spare Turbo so cancelled the order on the other one and built up the Turbo and must say I am very happy with the end product at the time I did not opt for the upgraded firing pin wished to see what I had first must say that two of these rifles were built for shooters up here mine and another they opted for the pin upgrade and truth be told I think mine has the edge my thoughts as I am sure the other party would say otherwise

as for Brett shutting up shop for a bit here in Australia when he finely had it sorted and you could get a custom action and parts in a reasonable time frame This is bad for Bench Rest Here as a hole also a shame he has to sell his new build off as someone is going to get a very good rifle there best wishes for Brett and who knows he may make a comeback when things are better

Making bench rest actions

I could not agree more with this the problem is there are those out there that have made them and dam good ones I know of a couple the big problem with this is supply and demand there is just not enough demand for them and to Tool up Your Work Shop to make them you need to know you’re going to sell more than one as with the way Brett had set himself up was nothing short of brilliant but this virus thing got him shame I see Anthony DiOrio has stepped up and can and will put something in place if required

Turbo Products To AU

I was unaware of Brett shutting down for a while. That being said, if there is a need/want for our products just let me know and I will secure an alternate means of getting product to Australia.

Best Regards, Anthony DiOrio
