I note Brett Wilson has won 2 comps in a row in Sydney and is always up there, let's add in Peter Armstrong who seems to win most big matches he enters and to make it harder let's add in Sully the HOF and what about Annie Elliot who makes winning or beating Stuart a habit ?

In this sport most think it’s all about the gun and ammo. My old school Turbo (2 lug) has been to 9 nationals and won 5 of them, but that’s with 3 different barrels and 3 different lots of Tenex and as rule I only take one lot to a match.
But to win big matches I know it’s more about what I do and my match preparation is completely different to what anybody else does and it is build around consistency and being able to deliver my best at a given time and place. I’ve been using the same training program for the last 18 years and I’ve won 12 nationals so it works for me.

You certainly do prepare like a champion, and get the results, no doubt about that.
I realised i should have added another to the list of candidates Rimfire HOF #1 Mick Truscott
