Dave McKinnell from WA won LV class and Brendan Atkinson won HV class.
LV 100yds was Annie Elliott, LV 200yds Murray Hicks
HV 100yds was Brendan Atkinson, HV 200yds Ann Brummell

Weather? Well what would you expect from Canberra !!!! :) 4 seasons every day!

Once again a well organised and well run event. Thanks to all involved and especially Alex Chryss.

Australia Day Shoot

Congratulations Mrs Elliot for a win that was more than hard earned.

It was interesting to see competitors battle thro some of the most punishing conditions on Saturday. It was in my opinion worse than anything I've seen at Little River.

Many thanks and warm congratulations should also go to Alex Chris and his wonderful team of associates that made the weekend another spectacular event.

I would like to personally thank Ken Melgaard for the deadliest batch of Copperheads I used all day Sunday. Having switched from the pills I used on Saturday, I managed to finish at the pointy end of the HV card as 'Dr' Atkinson would say.

Finally, many thanks to Stuart Elliot for his many patient words of advice and assistance with some of my own equipment issues, this despite his own heavy, hectic schedule.

Thanks Chris, Really like

Thanks Chris,
Really like seeing you guys from Melbourne enjoy yourselves. Good stuff.
Also need to thank Les O'Roarke for saving me at the presentations. I was trying to pretend to be a photographer with Brendans camera when Les took over and saved the day. Makes a difference what a professional photographer can do! :)

Anyway Annie is happy with her new Kreiger barrel and new bullets which BTW are boat tails from our friend Roland Thomsen in South Africa.
The old Stolle still performs and her husband has lost his marbles. Crossfired his first target! Life's normal I guess. :)

ps. Why does everybody ask us when we are moving back to Canberra? Cause I can tell that aint gunna happen! Nice place, terrible weather. Anyone care to disagree?

Congratulations Annie. Wow,

Congratulations Annie.

Wow, that was some of the hardest conditions I've seen.
Thanks to Alex, Jim, Max and the rest of the crew for their effort and another well organised match.

Well Done Annie

Great shooting Annie in tuff conditions and really good to see some different names in the top 10, especially some newer competitors.

Thank you to all of the workers who did an excellent job. Of note was that there didn't seem to be any time lost due to any target problems in such strong winds. Great work by the target crew and particularly by those that prepared the target frames prior to the match.

Many thanks from Kath and Tony.

Well done Annie.

Just goes to show that when preparation meets opportunity that anything is possible.

Well done to Alex and his small band of helpers, for another excellent event.
