Guys I have a question for the experts out there. When you are testing ammo, do you clean in between different lots? Do you clean in between different types of ammo by the same manufacturer? Do you clean in between different manufacturers? Do you just clean in your normal way?
Thanks for your help.

I would clean between different types by the same manufacturer and between different manufactures. They use different lube and powder. You may not get a true reading if you change without cleaning.
I have shot eley match, then shot some SK match without cleaning. Now the eley shoots tight groups and the SK not so tight (in my rifle anyway) but after shooting the eley the SK shot as well as the eley for about 5 to 10 shots then the group started to opened up. My guess was the SK lube/ fouling was diminishing the eley lube/fouling as more shots went thru. Was this a waste of ammo….I reckon so. Could of put 3 to 5 patches thru to save that ammo and get a true reading on that ammo….
Cheers
