2010.3 Crossfires

I think Maureen has found an error in the rulebook.

Rule 12.10 gives 1MOA for each missing shot, but rule 13.1 gives 1/2MOA for a crossfire.

I checked the WBRSF Rulebook (2007) and NBRSA Rulebook (37) and both have the same penalty for both, which is 1MOA.

I recommend we adopt the international rule.

Rob.

Crossfire penalties

The Section on crossfire penalties is not in error. It has been this rule for the past 10 years. And until now there has been no motions to change it.

I agree that maybe we should follow the International standard.

Past AGMs and rule book

Past AGMs and rule book reviews have confirmed the stance that a crossfire is a measurable and lesser penalty than an immeasurable missing shot that can be also give rise to the notion that it is missing intentionally.
Annie is correct that we intended the difference.
