THANK YOU
It has rained every nationals at Silverdale that I can remember.
Brendan once wrote in the journal "it only rained at Silverdale twice during the nationals, once for 3 days and once for 4 days!"

Yes, thankyou very much to all who help organise and run the Centrefire Nationals at Silverdale. Especially Billo.

Yes, another good Nationals at Silverdale.
The weather was really good for 95% of it, and the record numbers in attendance was a good sign.
We must be getting old, because many of the hell raisers from years gone by were in bed and pushing out zzzz's by 10.30pm.
Billo's ability to, not only organise this match, but run it as well. It had to be done within the time constraints placed upon it by local council regulations. We finished early each day, but consider what happens when delays for break downs, crossfires and competitor complaints occur. Some time up their sleeve is a necessity.
Billo also marked up all of the backers and half of the targets in the week before. I know Kath and I really appreciate all he has done. The target crew was just outstanding, well done to them all.
Bob Barrie's mechanical skills should not be underestimated either. Bob was able to carry out modifications that allowed 30 target frames to be used. Without that, a 6 day Nationals may have been on the cards.
With the numbers present, 6 or even 8 day Nationals may soon be a possibility.
